Ben Clement is a practicing photo artist whose work is both observant and explorative. Focussing on movement, activity and human ability.
His recent body of work is centred around the European marathon trail exploring the way running can be documented. Ben’s work captures the rawness, reality and emotional side of people in sport.
Ben works editorially for a range of publications and platforms like, Monocle, Wallpaper*, Hypebeast Magazine, Champ Magazine.
And commercially for brands and organisations like Adidas, Converse, Louis Vuitton, Nike.
Ben is based between Amsterdam, NL, Melbourne, AU and Aotearoa, New Zealand. He is commercially represented by ViviensCreative.
Ben also collaborates with small teams on conceptual projects. Through these works he brings his ideas to other areas of interest including food, wine, punk music and how our sense of place in the world. In recent times this has included a cookbook of all the food in Brad Pitt movies, a series about hemp farming and why running is his new punk.
Ben is also the founder and director of Good Sport magazine, an independent left-of-field publication that explores life through and outside of sport.
